Completely his own mess

Actually, if she told him she was sterilised, I think he has been rather duped. Obviously it isn't your problem in the slightest.

winnybella Thu 30-Jun-11 21:14:12

Yep, his own mess. What a jerk.

of course it's his own mess. but if he thought she couldn't have children then i agree that he has been tricked into it

nowt to do with you though!

Georgimama Thu 30-Jun-11 21:15:24

Completely his own mess, but if someone tells you they have been sterilised and you are in a LTR you would think you should be able to trust that. If my husband lied to me about having a vasectomy and I became pregnant I'd be fucking livid.

Not your problem.

Makeminealarge Thu 30-Jun-11 21:17:54

and how exactly is him telling you his 'problem' going to solve anything?! its not as if you have a magic wand stuffed up your sleeve cos if you be at your door asking for a few magical waves of your wand!hehe!

having your tubes tied is more than 99% effective as far as i'm aware.

can't be any different than having a vasectomy surely?

Definitely not your problem.

HerHissyness Thu 30-Jun-11 21:21:15

Not your problem. Don't discuss it with him. Move on.

No-one cares about him and his sordid little life, he sounds a real catch. I bet you are glad he's your EX now aren't you? grin

Makeminealarge Thu 30-Jun-11 21:21:57

oh yes please!! :D waits eagerly at door for postman to arrive

a hysterectomy is not performed during a routine sterilisation

but female sterilisation is more effective than the pill.

so, if she said she had been sterilised then she is either incredibly unlucky, or lying.

Makeminealarge Thu 30-Jun-11 21:26:23

lmfao!!!! silly me!! better be a good wand! the price of airmail these days....

fatlazymummy Thu 30-Jun-11 21:28:08

So if she was in fact sterilised then she didn't actually trick him. It's just a matter of being unlucky, or not taking extra precautions. Either way, it's definitely not your problem.

EricNorthmansMistress Thu 30-Jun-11 22:11:10

Sterilisation is having your tubes tied. If she was sterilised then she didn't lie to him. Nobody gets a hysterectomy to prevent pregnancy alone.

Regardless, he sounds like a nobber.

having your tubes tied can fail, I've a cousin whos living proof, my aunt was the same age as your exh fiance too. Says more about the relationship TBH that he goes right to "she lied" rather than "it didnt work"

Either way, blatently not your problem and his own mess.

izzywhizzyletsgetbusy Thu 30-Jun-11 22:22:31

If his off/on currently ex fiancee is, in fact, pregnant it sounds as if that'll be another one for ss and the taxpayer to care for.

Will they be appearing on JK anytime soon, or will they wait until the obligatory DNA test can be performed?

What exactly is he looking from you? And it might be rare but sterilisation does fail, my cousin is proof of this or rather her DS2 is!
