Everybody had a day off for the royal wedding. (Cameron backed)

Now a one day strike is treated like the start of the 3rd world war.

What a load of Grahanm Pollocks.

Spring....cool it. You may get to hell soon enough. Surely the media should have a sense of proportion over a puny one day strike.

Well said Gabby. The hoo-ha is because people have zero respect for teachers. They expect them to just do their job and be happy with the shit they're given. There's an attitude of "how dare they" when teachers expect to actually be remunerated fairly for the very very hard job they do. Best of luck striking teachers!!

THE REAL QUESTION Is a one day strike long enough to effect the negotiations which are taking place with Camwerons Tory turnabouts?
