Just to let you know, yes I do have bigger things to worry about and I may be a bit PFB about the language my DS hears but I do believe there are times and places you should NOT swear and this really annoyed me today.
Was dropping DS off to nursery this morning and we were all waiting in the foyer for them to let us in. I wasn't paying much attention to what the mum behind me was saying to her DS until I heard "blah blah you little shit" It wasn't even in an annoyed tone of voice, just like everyday conversation. Then the mum next to me laughed and said "yeah punch him in the face" (I do wish I was joking but I am not).
Luckily DS wasn't taking any notice and some of the parents at the nursery are a bit, well, roughish, so no I didn't say anything but it annoyed me that they think its perfectly alright to talk like this in front of other children. Ok, if they must do it in front of their own (which I still don't like) but to just talk like that at nursery is awful.
AIBU to be annoyed by it and would it be OTT if I said something to one of the workers? In the last letter sent out by the nursery, there was a paragraph reminding parents not to talk about other children as they may have SEN or problems, so obviously some people have been saying stuff about other children within earshot of the parents.
