Minor..it's minor...I know it is....but I have o know the general thoughts of others.
I baked a cake tonight as a dry run for DDs brthday party next week....turned it out...PERFECT chocolate sponge...told DH that I would decorate it in the morning....so cream would be frsh etc.
He just wandered in "Cakes nice"
He's taken a fucking CHUNK off the corner and desicrated its perfection...which I was going to decorate tomorrow.
I know it's minor...I have sliced it away..right across so the cake is nw straight edged again on all sides...but I KNOW it's not as it was.
I make cakes on a semi regular basis and they're cut and eaten as a family...would you take a chunk off someone's freshly baked cake? He also TURNED IT OVER after taking his corner.....revealing the risen side...when I had already turned it upon taking it out of the tin....I had to turn it over again to get the flat side on top!
I prbably would care but this is a practice cake!
