To not know how i feel re pregnancy

I found out yesterday that i am pregnant with DC3 and i dont know how i feel which is realy wierd to me as we tried for 5 yrs with DD2 with 5 mc in that time.

One minute i am ok and the next i want to cry my eyes out, i have to have injections all through my pregnancies and i almost died when i had DD2 so i think this is all part of why i am not sure how i feel.
We never expected it to happen ifswim due to DD2 taking so long and she is only a yr and we were using condoms.

DH is over the moon , can someone please convince me this is not a bad thing and that all will be ok and will cope with 2 young children.

It's understandable given your history, but remember each pregancy is different - was your first easier? The wanting to cry your eyes out is probably mostly hormones doing a number on you - I remember that feeling, and that was with no ambivalence!

I'm not surprised you're feeling ambivalent considering your past history and the fact that this pregnancy was totally unplanned.

I've had three planned pregnancies that went well but was still very up and down emotionally as I had bad morning sickness throughout.
Third child was born 4 weeks ago and it's been lovely. It's honestly not as exhausting as I thought it would be. And think that when they grow up your DD2 and her sibling will be really close.

Congratulations!

Its totally understandable. I have had several mc's and now if i see a bfp Im like "meh" (or burst into tears)

Your apprehension is understandable, but I think you'll love having two close together. Mine are only 15 months apart, and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way...they are 5 and 3.8 now, and the best of friends.
It was hard at first when DC2 was a baby, but it got easier as she became mobile.
How old is your DC1? Will s/he be able to help you with the new baby?

Thanks, its good to know that i am not the nly one that has ever felt this way.

DD1 is 9 so is very helpful with DD2 and i think she will be great with another DC. She realy wants a brother Smile.

I think the thing that is worrying me is all the problems i have in pg and that i havent had a small age gap before so not sure how i will cope, i realy hope i will be fine. I am feeling very sick already which is not good because i dont deal with sickness well, it is constant ALL day and i hate that .

Sorry didnt come back sooner had to go to docs and get my injections.
