To be greedy and suggest that Alan Rickman wouldn't be enough to sate my appetites and instead .....

suggest a top three of 'I soooo would'? Even here I struggle to narrow it down but (rolls up sleeves) may I suggest-
Stephen Mangan
Ralph Fiennes
John Craven from the 1970's.
Indeed tis a splendid mix agreed?
Ok maybe the last one qualifies as a weird crush.......

Lipstickgal Thu 23-Jun-11 22:18:34

In that order.

Hassled Thu 23-Jun-11 22:20:13

Marlon Brando in the 1950s

Lipstickgal Thu 23-Jun-11 22:22:21

STEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAA.

Indeed. I understand.

Mandy2003 Thu 23-Jun-11 22:24:00

Will Self....NOW!!
Dennis Hopper....from Easy Rider to a while after Blue Velvet.
The new Chelsea manager....file for future reference.

I only have eyes for Charlie Sheen, he's all I've ever wanted and all I'd ever need, I want to marry him.

God if I lived in LA I'd probably stalk him.....then again if I had the time for stalking and lived in LA I'd probably just stalk his house for about half an hour get bored at seeing nothing and wonder off to the nearest bar and then turn up at Shia LeBoufs house drunk and shout about how it's his fault the Transformers franchise and Indiana Jones are now shit and probably get arrested for disturbing the peace.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie Thu 23-Jun-11 22:39:01

I would like Alan Rickman in one corner of the bedroom and Jarvis Cocker in the other. They don't have to do anything - just talk. Yum. smile

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie Thu 23-Jun-11 22:39:33

I SO get the John Craven thing btw.

Lipstickgal Thu 23-Jun-11 22:46:07

I so get the Jarvis thing. I had a major crush on him in his Pulp days. I had a bit of a shrine on my college door...ahem. He is so lush. Sigh.
I saw him in London, nearly passed out and screeched his name in a most undignified way.
He legged it.
My friends cringed and still crease up over the sheer look of terror on his face.......sorry Jarvis. I was the green haired girl.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie Thu 23-Jun-11 22:51:51

grin

I met Alan R v briefly once. I giggled insanely and simpered and then ran away whispering 'Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god' for quite a long time. blush

LadyClariceCannockMonty Fri 24-Jun-11 16:25:18

Top three. That's a bit difficult.

"Lipstick*, your lineup is indeed ... diverse. I like it, although I wouldn't have any of them. Did you see Mangan in the pilot for Dirk Gently? I loved him in Green Wing but felt that Dirk G wasn't really great casting for him.

Anyway, I'm procrastinating because I'm finding it hard to narrow my shag list down to think of three ...

Right.

- Paul Bettany, cos I've loved him for over a decade. Despite the many shite films on his CV.
- Benedict Cumberbatch.
Hmmmmm
- Probably Aidan Turner. Or Adrien Brody. Or Philip Seymour Hoffman. Or Ben Miller ...

Tony Hadley (from 1984)
Brad Pitt
Dave, our courier guy who comes into work....corr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! blush

swanker Fri 24-Jun-11 16:29:59

Steven Mangan= donkey from shrek. Nuff said.

Alan Rickman and Benedict Cumberbatch, oh yes.

Awomancalledhorse Fri 24-Jun-11 16:32:54

Clancy Brown, Vincent Cassell & Kim Coates (odd looking bloke who plays Tig in Sons of Anarchy).

I like strange looking men <thinks of DH & his receeding hairline> sototally get the John Craven thing, had a moosive crush on Chris Packham back in the day!

givingoffsparks Fri 24-Jun-11 16:38:55

Eric Northman, Jason Stackhouse and Ewan Mcgregor

LadyClariceCannockMonty Fri 24-Jun-11 16:41:58

horse, I too had a gigantic crush on Chris Packham in his Really Wild Show days. I don't think the years have been kind though.

swanker, I've said it before ad nauseam but I will step outside and fight anyone for Benedict. grin

Popbiscuit Fri 24-Jun-11 16:43:27

I can remember having a crush on John Craven when I was a little girl...he's got a Richard Gere thing going on, I think.
Mmmm... Yes, please to Benedict Cumberbatch.
My newest obsessions are Hans Matheson and Michael Fassbender <swoon>

LadyClariceCannockMonty Fri 24-Jun-11 16:45:24

You too, Popbiscuit <rolls up sleeves emoticon>

Michael Fassbender. Yes, he's not bad. I bet he's a goer.

breadandbutterfly Fri 24-Jun-11 17:00:13

Curiously, my 11 year old has a MASSIVE crush on Jarvis Cocker. Suspect that's unusual for an 11 year old, but hey ho, having watched some Pulp at Glasto (old) on the telly the other night, I can kind of see her point. Though not one of my 3some.

Mine is... Um...Noel Fielding who looks like he'd rather enjoy being in a threesome and wouldn't be too bothered about the gender of the other 2, um... John Malkovich when younger (again, that voice...shudder), and well, it's a bit of a queue for 3rd place really. Ziggy Stardust (not DB now, obviously)? Alan Rickman as Snape? Boris Becker when young and not knobbing chambermaids/being smug? The ever gorgeous and obliging Johnny Depp? How does one narrow it down to 3?

In fact the truth of this was proved when my OH suggested watching a romcom on dvd tonight 'with that one you fancy in'. We both hesitated but astonishingly, I hit on the right name first time. grin

Sorry, it's that time of the month again.

Awomancalledhorse Fri 24-Jun-11 17:03:45

Shit! I forgot about the lovely Robert Patrick (fancied him since Terminator 2)!
Also, omc I have just googled Michael Fassbender & am in lurve with him & his damn fine jawline <swoons>

Glitterknickaz Fri 24-Jun-11 17:04:40

Oh I have a list.
Might have Johnny Depp and Dylan Moran on it amongst numerous others.
A tasting menu might be nice.

LadyClariceCannockMonty Fri 24-Jun-11 17:07:17

There was recently a thread on here where someone talked about compiling her top 40. She (and everyone else on the thread) never actually did it though.

I did. grin

breadandbutterfly Fri 24-Jun-11 17:09:20

How the hell do you decide who comes in (ooh er) at number 1?

Too hard (ooh er again).

Popbiscuit Fri 24-Jun-11 17:13:01

B&B grin
