DDs school refusal and schools handling.

They may make a fuss? YOU need to make a bloody big fuss. Complain to ofsted, complain to everyone you can. I imagine ofsted is the best though. Also if they are applying for free school status they will have a dedicated contact at DfE who would be very interested I imagine.

Write down all the problems that you are having with your dd's school with as much factual detail as possible. Get together with the other parents who are having problems to add further detail. Send a letter to the govenors (if they have them) or the head detailing all your complaints (as factually based and objective as possible - avoid emotion as they might dismiss you as being a hysterical mother) Send a copy of your letter to OFSTED.

Your daughter's behaviour shows that she is feeling unsettled, whatever the cause, so try to give her calm, love and routine at home while you sort this out.
