Shes on the Apprentice : You're Fired. She just said this. Maybe Im tight but I dont think this is kind on the pocket at all hmm

You wish, Myleene

I can't imagine who would buy this stuff. Isn't most Mothercare stuff mid-low range price wise.

MarioandLuigi Wed 22-Jun-11 22:31:38

I did a hmm face when she said that too. It maybe okayish prices if you have loads of money, but i think the quality is poor for that price, and some of the designs are a bit odd.

manticlimactic Wed 22-Jun-11 22:32:58

It's kind to your pocket because you wouldn't buy it. grin

knittynoodle Wed 22-Jun-11 22:33:00

The dresses are lovely looking, yes. But £30?! Thats what I'd spend on a dress for ME!

MarioandLuigi Wed 22-Jun-11 22:35:02

Its like Per Una for kids isnt it!

gethelp Wed 22-Jun-11 22:37:49

Hahahahah, slimfit yellow jeans for a baby! Thanks for the laugh knittynoodle!!!! And skulls on a baby top - really sweet!?!

QueenOfAllBiscuitsandMuffins Wed 22-Jun-11 22:40:45

Fucking hell that's Stella Mccartney at Gap prices (and I wouldn't buy those either, seriously who buys hand wash only for a toddler?)

Cutiecat Wed 22-Jun-11 22:42:44

MarioandLuigi - you have hit the nail on the head. Per Una for kids indeed.

belledechocchipcookie Wed 22-Jun-11 22:44:47

baby sunglasses? Who the hell would put sunglasses on a baby? shock

Icoulddoitbetter Wed 22-Jun-11 22:46:19

The clothes are just horrible. Personally most standard Mothercare stuff is more than I'm willing to spend on DS's clothes, and her range is more expensive than that.

Wrong, Myleene!

sungirltan Wed 22-Jun-11 22:48:40

never mind the price Baby K stuff is chav. I cannot think of another word to describe a shiny black puffa jaocket with gold embroidery on it (last winter collection)

higgle Wed 22-Jun-11 22:50:25

At least it isn't pink - no pleasing some people.

MrsTwinks Wed 22-Jun-11 22:51:39

urm i might. not that id have DC in the sun but if I was going somewhere very bright I might do. I have very light sensitive eyes and often wear sunglasses inside on holiday if there are lots of windows, so I might but them on DC too.

Ugh that swimsuit is a rather vommy colour, isn't it?

Clytaemnestra Wed 22-Jun-11 23:00:00

I like some of her designs. DD has had a few and lookd very cute in them. Some of it is awful but at least it is a bit different.

But lets just make a joke about her being a thai prostitute instead as that's not racist at all hmm

"At least it isn't pink - no pleasing some people."

I like it much better than those dreadful kidsshouldbekids or, the ugly tobytiger clashy stripes, posters keep raving about on MN.

ZXEightyMum Wed 22-Jun-11 23:08:10

I'm sorry about that, I was referencing an old thread but that is no excuse. Apologies.

Personally I dislike her because of her selfish behaviour on Popstars many years ago.

Anyway. Here is a review of the yellow baby jeans:

"these jeans are absoloutely gorgeous, they are however alot brighter in real life than they look on the picture. i dont mind this because the colour is beautiful and my daughter looks lovely in yellow but it could dissapoint some people if they were expecting very pale yellow jeans. very good quality and fit, im gunna have a very trendy baby smile "

She told Glamour magazine she has framed pictures of her naked pregnant cover shoot on the walls in her home. Would you want to buy baby clothes from her?

Belle People in Australia have to there if you're out in the sun for a long time.

I don't think her designs are that bad...apart from the slim fit jeans! I like the quirkiness...and the prices are the same aslods of high street shops.

SinicalSal Thu 23-Jun-11 01:06:15

No - She means her own pocket.

we put sunglasess on DD, then again we do live in CA. I think it's as important as sun screen and a hat (I wear sunglasses most days). Having less sunny days in the UK isn't a reason not to, although there is less opportunity for babies/toddlers to get used to them in order to keep them on.

What I do like about the clothes is that they are not the usual pink girly clothes that MC stocks. I once scanned the MC range and could not spot a single item that didn't have pink on it.

MumblingRagDoll Thu 23-Jun-11 01:42:36

That's true! Not pink...still not sure that balances the tight baby jeans. hmm

Bast Thu 23-Jun-11 03:03:49

I love babygrows.

What else does a baby need prior to toddlerdom? Pockets? No. Frills, ruffles and harsh materials? No.

I don't understand 'dressing babies up' at all. A comfy baby is a beautiful thing!
