To wonder who xiaojdd is?

and what spleen they were venting at 1.30am this morning on loads of money and employment threads that resulted in such large scale message deleting from MN HQ. Normally I guess either people said something they regretted, swore too much or said something truly horrible, but have to admit that the volume of this one has got me curious.
Does anyone know?

Yes, I don't think it's a person, I think it's a bot of some kind. Every few hours a poster whose username starts xiao (with different last 3 or 4 letters) posts the same message advertising some site or other on a whole bunch of threads - the last time I think they were mostly from the In The News topic. You can search for it/him/her/them if you so desire by putting in the username xiao* in the Advanced search! There are two real MNers whose usernames start with the same letters as well.

Really annoying and I hope MN can find a way to block the 'poster' more permanently for their sake as well as ours.
