When the original was out there was talk of a sequel but I could never see it myself what with one of the two main characters being as dead as a doornail and the other one living a hundred years knowing that he was at the bottom of the ocean.

I must remember, if I am ever in a life threatening situation aboard a sinking ship, and I find someone with a huge gaping wound, that all I need to do is to scotch tape a credit card over it, and then the victim will be just fine. until she is chopped in half by a bulkhead door
