AIBU?

To think shows like SKY's Fat Families supports intolerance and bullying.

Has anyone seen fat families? Am I being unreasonable To think shows like this should be pulled off air. The Host is so insensitive. Do not get me wrong I am not saying a diet of heart clogging fat is good for anyone but he just promotes rude behavior you hear about (catcalling, teasing and abusive comments on others lifestyle and appearance). Just the repeated phrases of "these tubbies/ fatties" and constantly using nicknames like lard, wobbly...annoying me to no end.

Never seen it or would I want to, if SKY didn't show it someone else would as the misery of others is always a ratings hit

No I like this programme. Steve Jones is actually quite supportive and the families usually do quite well. I am fat myself and it doesn't upset me in the slightest.

From what I've seen of this when the dses have been watching it, he is supportive when he's speaking to them, but uses very unpleasant and bullying terms behind their backs - like the ones Colleen quoted. He also does a 'test' before the final weigh-in, where he basically lays traps for them with all their previous favourite junk foods, which I am sure is done with the hope that they will succumb to at least one temptation and can then be scolded for it - which is good tv.

I am overweight too, but having seen Steve Jones on this programme, I wouldn't trust him to help me, because of what I know he'd be saying about me behind my back.

YANBU

The presenter is soooo annoying. TBh I think he is a little bit tubby himself so he can stop the preaching. His head is too big for his body.
