AIBU to feel a tad pissed off?

I bought something from a friend - we met on a parenting forum a few years ago and we are in a group of women. I paid her and she said she would send it. That was 10 days ago Angry

I am still waiting, i have messaged twice and left a post on her wall but still no reply or no parcel. :(

It wasn't much but still, i paid and not received my goods.

AIBU to feel a tadded pissed off with my friend?
What would you do?

Give her a call - might she be away?

TBH I think I'd wait two weeks at least before getting concerned. This woman may just be of the busy mom, procrastinating variety.

I dont have her number, no she isnt away. Her DH is in the army and he has just come home, (which i understand why she may not have posted them as hes been away for 6 months) but an email or inbox message wouldnt have gone a miss?!

Ten days is nothing. Did she promise you next day delivery? You already know why going to the post office may not be uppermost in her mind.

Maybe she was a bit hard up & needed the money. If she hasn't seen her husband for months,I'd imagine there is the reason you haven't heard from her!

I'd leave it a while yet and be prepared to write it off if she doesn't send it. Do you see her in RL or is she an online friend?

I once posted something to someone through an ebay purchase. The post office took my sender address on the top corner (duhuhuh!) and sent it back to me!

If she has sent it and it's delayed the post office won't do anything for 2 weeks anyway. Send her a message saying that, and that you'll be in touch next week to sort out a Royal Mail claim form.

If her husband has just returned from a posting give her some grace....it really turns your life upside down. I went on holiday with a packet in my handbag, forgot to post on the non customs side and luckily a kind air hostess offered to post it when she got home!
