NorksAreMessy Mon 13-Jun-11 20:13:15

Well done you.
Not so scary now you have wrangled one and proved that you are BIGGER and BOLSHIER ae they.

Lunabelly Mon 13-Jun-11 20:13:49

Feckitty feckitty feck, I bow down to not just your bravery but your superior speed and reflexes. I have tried to 'catch the pigeon' many times and failed.

I salute you. smile

I feel like that about moths but I always always escort them outside by way of an upturned glass and a piece of paper.

Well done to you - because when I have to get rid of a moth I'm a nervous bloody wreck for ages after!

SecretNutellaFix Mon 13-Jun-11 20:15:06

I've helped catch a few. Stupid bastards fly in the door at work, panic and then repeatedly smash themselves against the big window.

Well done.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude Mon 13-Jun-11 20:15:28

I understand, I can't stand birds- nearly ran screaming from a petting farm when a massive cock (ooh matron) came stamping around me.

That is bravery my friend, you earn a badge.

Nice work!

YankNCock Mon 13-Jun-11 20:18:50

Amazing. That pigeon's grandchildren will still be talking about you years down the road (or however long it takes two generations of pigeons to spawn).

DirtyMartini Mon 13-Jun-11 20:19:04

Well, maybe nice is not quite the right word.

I'm very impressed. A considerably better response than I managed when one wandered into our kitchen last week. I don't think the children were impressed with my screeching. I opened the door wide and hoped for the best.

TheMonster Mon 13-Jun-11 20:29:19

That is bloody brave! Well done you. Your workmates owe you big time.

Northernlurker Mon 13-Jun-11 20:31:31

Oh well done! Flappy birds are v scary. You are a Goddess of the workplace!

<<is that grovelling enough?>>

ginmakesitallok Mon 13-Jun-11 20:34:59

You'll not be feeling so brave when you are struck down by some horrible PIGEON DISEASE grin Well done you

LadyOfTheCuntryManor Mon 13-Jun-11 20:35:45

Can we call you a "bird lady" now? Did you look like the weird park woman from Home Alone 2?

Cymar Mon 13-Jun-11 20:36:53
