a bloke should be able to piss into the loo without needing to lift the loo seat and then "forget" to put it back down..

Hmm

I hate it when I dont check the seat and my arse falls into the loo!

How did you do that stranded? I am also very tired of lowering my arse end onto the ice cold rim in the middle of the night because some plank hasn't put the seat back down!

Our rule is that everyone has to put the seat and lid down. Fair to all and I don't end up falling in the loo!

Better than when you are really tired, and don't realise until it is too late that not only have they put the seat down, they have put the lid down too...

The rim doesnt bother me, its the frigging chilly water that soaks me which annoys me most!... grrrrr..

I know in an equal world we should be able to put the seat down ourselves and not expect the man to do it, but I dont subscribe to that much feminism I am afraid...

And anyway, with a hole to pee through the size of a pinhead, surely they should be able to aim without having to lift the seat in the first place!

I am quite happy for the lid not to be down, as I have almost had a few accidents when stumbling in to the loo in the middle of the night in the dark...

I have just asked the guilty party about why he does this and his reply was that it is so the loo seat doesnt get splashed. I asked if he bothers to wipe the loo rim when he splashes that and he looks at me as if to say "eh???"...
