If you don't like it, then don't do it.

Running hurts my boobies. A lot.

Think of your poor bones crunching together on each pounding of the pavement...its enough to make me go and lay down! I think I will...

How you feel when you finish is the addictive thing.

It does get better - I used to be like you, really struggled but persevered and all of a sudden one week it was a bit easier.

Do you run to music? Having a good playlist is essential and now there are certain tracks that make me actually want to start running when I hear them.

Good luck!

I also hate jogging/running.

Much prefer a brisk walk.

I have my own personal trainer.

He´s lovely.

He only demands walkies three times a dayGrin

Im quite, erm, blessed shall we say.

I hate running with a vengeance, prefer to swim instead (also hoping it might delay any knee or hip replacement surgery). Have a theory that humans were never meant to run on tarmac - our joints can't take the impact long-term.

Get a decent bra, some decent trainers and running gear.

A lot of running is in the mind - and exercise releases endorphins like you wouldn't believe. You just need to find the right exercise.

I did a couch to 10k in 6 weeks - was fab! Got me into running - but I had a nice common to run on. Now I don't, only have the gym or pavements which is boring and annoying when you have to stop to cross the road!

maybe start with longer walks...?? then progress to jogs within that - you'll soon get fitter... good luck

I found I had to modify the couch to 5k a bit. One week I just increased the running by 30 sec, other weeks I repeated. The buzz I got when I finally ran 2 mins, I felt I had acheived so much as it was so hard. Sounds daft now. But each time you go up to a new time you get a buzz, a sense of acheivement. I still find running hard, as Im not a natural runner but its me time, it gives me a good workout and because its hard I feel amazing afterwards, almost like I can do anything

Running is THE best exercise for losing weight.

A year ago, I weighed 2.5 stone more, and could hardly run to the end of the road. now I can do 10k in under an hour, and am a weight I haven't been since I was 18.

Running is cheap and convenient if you like it, but I've never got past the barrier of hating it and wanting to stop after about a minute either. There are other forms of exercise though... I like walking and especially if there are any hills involved, I feel like it's good exercise.

I'd second the idea about a playlist - I really couldn't run without music to listen to. Also, try to vary your route if you can, running can be quite monotonous. I like to run in our local park so I can switch off a bit and let my mind wander without having to worry about cars etc.

Also, I never want to go out running - but I do it because the buzz I get at the end is great. And it means I can eat what I want. I'd rather exercise than do without my food!

I hate running....says she who is doing the 5 k race for life on sunday!!

However, it can be enjoyable - make sure you are wearing the right trainers and get the breathing right - it's all in the breathing, control that and you can go for miles. Take long strides and maintain and heel/toe action..........

Great for the legs and bum :)

Running is a disease - it ruins your joints. Plus you don't get to enjoy the flora, fauna and views like you do on a good walk.

I hate running to music as I find the constant change in rhythm off putting. However, I run to audio books and it really magics away the time.

Why run when you can jump in the car and get there early?

As for releasing endorphins, there are far more pleasurable ways of producing the same effect.

I love running. I miss it (7 months pg).

It is the feeling afterwards and your remember your good runs a bit like you remember a good night out. Especially good if you go with a friend and have a good gossip on the way round.

I wear 2 sports bra's and a tight top, the boobies don't move (....GG's + depending on weight gain post babies).

You get to eat what you want because you'll burn it off and you literately shrink into you clothes.... fantastic. I could go on.

If it doesn't work for you find something else that does.

I LOVE it. The first 10 minutes are a slog and then you get this invincible energy. Also, afterwards, you get to feel smug and eat pies.

Oh, and, if you really don't like any exercise, running is one of the highest calorie burn in the shortest time.
