from the all singing, all dancing play cube that The Toddler got for her birthday?
She loves it so much but its wrecking my fucking head.I dont give two shits if puppy wants to play shapes, colours, letters or numbers.

Not at all!

Toys like that are well known to 'disappear' in our house.
They can spend months under the sofa/at the bottom of a toybox/behind a cupboard/in the top of a wardrobe etc etc.
No idea at all how they get there!!! grin

NBU at all, such toys tend to be never seen again, kids make enough noise on their own without the bloody toys.

DW and I (our song now adult) occasionally buy them for people with small children that we want to piss off - the adults, that is, not the children!

But you need to listen to it play long enough for it to permanently engrave itself on your memory so when the need comes in many years from now you can randomly start singing it... for example

Hello puppy calling,
do you want to play with me,
let's have fun together while you learn your ABC!

It's a wonderful gift to have....

YANBU - hate those kind of toys.

Was very pleased when DS1 moved on to Lego smile
