just copy and paste the bar at the top of your screen when looking at the house. Cannot find where to put the reference in on the site.

katvond Wed 08-Jun-11 16:39:12

why ask strangers an opinion on a house, its your opinion that counts not ours

SureYouCan Wed 08-Jun-11 16:39:53

Ok thank you, i will try it.

missismac Wed 08-Jun-11 16:45:02

Sorry, I too tried to look, but couldn't see where to put the reference in to search for the property.

ooohyouareawfulbutilikeyou Wed 08-Jun-11 16:46:35

no its horrible, choose something else

SureYouCan Wed 08-Jun-11 16:53:34

Sorry i could not paste, blush.

Is it ok if i give you this: ?

katvond Wed 08-Jun-11 16:54:45

are we gonna live in the house with you?
guessed not,so why ask us?

Thingumy Wed 08-Jun-11 16:55:27

here op

Just put [[ ]] around your links,it's quite simple.

valiumredhead Wed 08-Jun-11 16:56:33

When I tried that link it came up as unknown, sorry.

what katvond said, I can't imagine asking random people on the internet if they like a house! Do YOU like it?

oneofthosedays Wed 08-Jun-11 16:57:15

must admit am not keen and round my way (NW) this would struggle to sell for £100k.

JaneFonda Wed 08-Jun-11 16:57:48

Personally, I don't like it.

It doesn't look very nice on the outside, and it seems very cramped inside.

I certainly couldn't live with a bathroom that small!

But, it's not my opinion that matters - it's where it is practical for you and your family (close to school/work etc.), and whether you can see yourself living there.

MrsGerardButler Wed 08-Jun-11 16:59:58

OP, what do you like about it?

valiumredhead Wed 08-Jun-11 17:00:01

If it's nicer than where you are living now then go for it!

SybilBeddows Wed 08-Jun-11 17:02:11

I'm afraid I don't like it either. I hate the style of the way they've knocked through, I hate the bathroom style and kitchen and bedroom fitted units, I hate what they've done to the garden. The kitchen is tiny.

But I don't know your area and what else you could get for the money. Do you think it is good value? Remember interest rates are likely to go up so you mustn't stretch yourself too far or you'll be in trouble.

MrsBethel Wed 08-Jun-11 17:02:54

Looks like the asking price is a bit cheeky:

Fimbo Wed 08-Jun-11 17:02:59

It looks like it comes out onto a main road? The back garden would put me off tbh. Have they left water in the bath tub???

manticlimactic Wed 08-Jun-11 17:06:53

I certainly couldn't live with a bathroom that small!

Small?? That's positively mansion-esque compared to my bathroom.shock

Kitchen does look a bit small, or just narrow. Then again it's bigger than mine.

Not sure about the garden either, is there a dropped kerb wink

Looks ok to me on the whole but I live in a shoe box.

Why on earth they left the snooker table up when they took pictures is beyond me though.

Owlingate Wed 08-Jun-11 17:07:10

I think it is good but the size of the kitchen might put me off, though the size of the lounge might compensate.

Really surprised by some of the negative comments - its not exactly a hell hole is it? Though I suppose it is in AIBU. Might be better off posting in the property section OP.

NieuweBuurvrouw Wed 08-Jun-11 17:07:26

Is this, in fact, your house that you're trying to sell?

But, with the benefit of the doubt, no, I really don't like it. Awful from outside, uninspiring inside and a nasty little garden. I don't know the area, but surely you can get something nicer for the price?

If it is your house, sorry for being so frank.

Insomnia11 Wed 08-Jun-11 17:07:55

Looks fine for a small family as you describe, OP. Two doubles and a box room, reasonably sized lounge/dining room. Decor looks fairly recent & neutral. Off street parking. The kitchen is small but that may not be an issue. No idea about the area/location. Small garden/yard but again that may not be a problem- would be easy to maintain anyway.

SureYouCan Wed 08-Jun-11 17:09:32

Thingumy many thanks!

Thank you for your replies.
Yes, it is better than the one we live now grin
The bathroom- i thought it is big!
What i like about it?- good question! It doesn't need any work and it looks nice to me blush. Is it ugly? It is 2 min walk to station (dh doesn't want to walk much) and 25 min train to Liverpool Street.

MadameCastafiore Wed 08-Jun-11 17:09:42

Over the bed wardrobes, an arch from one room to the other - small kitchen with garish tiles and it's ugly - all things that would mean I wouldn't even consider it!

Insomnia11 Wed 08-Jun-11 17:09:54

But then don't ask me as we bought the first house we looked at "That'll do" both times ;)

Fimbo Wed 08-Jun-11 17:10:53

Having looked on Rightmove, the rest of the properties in that area and price bracket are truly awful. The one you have linked is definately the best - go for it quick!
