Gah ... All those wasted feeds and only 3 months of maternity leave left!! I am a doofus!! grin

ElizabethDarcy Mon 06-Jun-11 17:09:54

another doofus sneaks in

There's Mumsnet mobile??? Where???

WorrisomeHeart Mon 06-Jun-11 17:58:29

At the bottom of the page, there's a little link that says something along the lines of 'view this in mobile format'. Am donning hair shirt as I type - Ds is now way too aware of shiny things for me to use it as much now!

Sn0wflake Mon 06-Jun-11 18:33:21

Arrrrgggghhhhhh! I am doofus also.

Sn0wflake Mon 06-Jun-11 18:34:26

It should be a bigger link at the top of the page methinks.

HippyHippopotamus Mon 06-Jun-11 18:35:48

can i join the doofus club too? how long has it been there?!!! why weren't we all told?

take off the hair shirt, i don't believe we're at fault here!

HippyHippopotamus Mon 06-Jun-11 19:39:36

Why wasn't this advertised??!!! Its so much better using the mobile version!!!!

WorrisomeHeart Mon 06-Jun-11 19:48:10

I completely agree, I kept seeing people blamIng their typos on their iPhones and wonder if it was a secret club that I had missed out on entry for. I have also discovered the Customise button which is superb! Love having my posts colour coded.

I am actually rather ashamed - I work in quite a techy job an really should have known better. Bloody baby brain.

PrincessJenga Mon 06-Jun-11 19:53:34

I must be the biggest doofus. I still can't find the mobile version.

WorrisomeHeart Mon 06-Jun-11 20:04:14

If you go onto one of thread topics and then scroll to the very bottom, it's in TINY font underneath the registered address info. So tiny it makes me suspect a conspiracy to keep us out!! grin

Tuggy Mon 06-Jun-11 20:06:52

You can go to m.mumsnet.com on your mobile

Took me ages to find it too now i lie in bed on my phone obsessively reading all the threads when I should be sleeping.

Zondra Mon 06-Jun-11 20:11:29

Thank you for this! Another member of Club Doofus here!

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns Mon 06-Jun-11 20:11:59

Are you kidding me, I brought a blackberry for nothing NOTHING!!! <Joins doofus club>

PrincessJenga Mon 06-Jun-11 20:17:57

Oh My God. I've also been loading the full page on my ipod then squinting at it when I should be sleeping Thanks Worrisome

WorrisomeHeart Mon 06-Jun-11 20:37:11

My pleasure.

Do you think my boss would agree to an extension to my maternity leave so that I can explore this fully?

ChippyMinton Mon 06-Jun-11 20:40:06

im using it on my kindle. cant be bothered to punctuate though.

maryjane71 Mon 06-Jun-11 21:06:57

Well I'm worse than a doofus. I have a blackberry and a kindle. I clicked at the bottom - then what do I do? confused

MissVerinder Mon 06-Jun-11 21:08:38

bloody hell! I am also, apparently, a doofus.

WorrisomeHeart Mon 06-Jun-11 21:10:51

maryjane it should be in a much easier (bigger!) format.

maryjane71 Mon 06-Jun-11 21:13:29

Okaaaaay, how do I get it on my kindle then? Pretend you are explaining it to a very small child grin

AurraSing Mon 06-Jun-11 21:15:44

Wow. I like this.
Why the chuff did they make it so difficult to find. Or do I have to admit to needing reading glasses now?

2tired2bewitty Mon 06-Jun-11 21:19:01

Oh! I'm having a techno revolutionary evening as I have also managed to play a DVD on the xbox for the first time blush

blueemerald Mon 06-Jun-11 21:47:49

Well hidden, I think, due to the lack of incredibly annoying adverts.

LotteryWinnersOnAcid Mon 06-Jun-11 21:51:22

I am also a doofus.

bubbleschimp Mon 06-Jun-11 21:53:32

If you use the opera mini browser on the iphone and click the "view mobile content" ( or something like that) you dont need to use the mn site :-)
