It's just so damn tasty and versatile, I love the cheesy wonder stuff

Stick on a potato

Jazz up toast with it

Where would pizza be without cheese I ask you ?

Broccoli and stilton soup, nuff said

Stick it on a curry

Spag bol

Carbonara

And of course CheeseToasties wink

The list goes on and on, it really is a wonder food.

I bloody love cheese

Me too.

Specially Cathedral City Mature. Has to be mature, not mild.

Goes with anything.(almost) smile

bupcakesandcunting Sun 05-Jun-11 21:46:35

I agree with all of the above EXCEPT stick it on a curry.

IN a curry, saag paneer stylee, yes.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe Sun 05-Jun-11 21:47:09

Me too. smile

My favourite is Davidstow Cheddar from Waitrose. It doesn't taste the same from other places, in fact from each supermarket it tastes different, even if it's Davidstow Cheddar... confused

I work for a French company and visit there quite often. I hate their cheese. I've never admitted that to them... but I really loathe it and they're so proud of it and want to share it... sad

I bloody love the French, just hate their cheese.

YANBU.

Unless it goat's cheese which makes me want to heave.

Your username always makes me crave a cheese toastie grin

I worked in a deli once, oh was heavenly stealing sampling bits of cheese on a daily basis...

mrsdonkeybucket Sun 05-Jun-11 21:48:26

Just thought of one of my favourites. smile

Cheese and tuna mayo toastie.

Now they are lovely.

FunnysInTheGarden Sun 05-Jun-11 21:49:23

I bloody love most sorts of cheese, shame they have a trillion WW points per miligram..........I could eat 10,000 Banon all at one go.

redflagsahoy Sun 05-Jun-11 21:51:32

Cheese is my number 1 favourite food of all time. I've never had the cheese/curry combo though. Cheese on fresh white bread from the oven with a nice glass of red....oh drool

ApocalypseCheeseToastie Sun 05-Jun-11 21:52:13

Bupcakes, you do not like it on a curry because you have never tried it on a curry. Cheese is bloody good on a curry.

It is also good with chips and gravy

JoandMax Sun 05-Jun-11 21:54:28

Me too, we are a house of cheese lovers here! DH and I have just had an occassional treat of a massive cheese and biscuit selection for our dinner, was delicious.

My favourite is either a ripe Brie or good old cheddar

TalcAndTurnips Sun 05-Jun-11 21:56:12

Does anybody want to join me down at Clwb Sboncyn for a nice pint of Cheese Water?

(a prize of a truckle of vintage cheddar goes to anyone who knows what the hell I'm going on about)

JellyMould Sun 05-Jun-11 21:56:47

Are you related to Alex from cbeebies?

SmethwickBelle Sun 05-Jun-11 21:56:56

Me too, just had some stilton and tinned pears for second dinner grin

ApocalypseCheeseToastie Sun 05-Jun-11 21:58:01

Oh and I bloody LOVE chicken tikka lasagna. Hghly recommended.

bupcakesandcunting Sun 05-Jun-11 21:58:26

Oooh, chips, cheese and gravy. I remember that delightful concoction from back in the days when I used to visit my boyfriend at uni' in Cumbria. I think it was a Cumbrian delicacy grin

I never tried it, I am happy to say.

TarquinGyrfalcon Sun 05-Jun-11 21:58:29

Grated cheddar cheese on chips with salad cream

ApocalypseCheeseToastie Sun 05-Jun-11 21:59:11

Oh I ate so much stilton recently I made myself quite ill, no wonder the cat moved out for a few days blush

ApocalypseCheeseToastie Sun 05-Jun-11 22:00:09

ApocalypseCheeseToastie Sun 05-Jun-11 22:03:02

Talcandturnips, you owe me a truckle of English cheddar. 'Pint of cheese water' is from the TV series Absolutely grin

Goofymum Sun 05-Jun-11 22:03:37

YANBU. I have just polished off a round of cheese and biscuits and could do the whole lot again. Convinced myself that I was sticking to my low GI diet with the biscuits being oatcakes. grin

Numberfour Sun 05-Jun-11 22:04:41

YANBU at alllllllllllllllll.... best thing about my home is that DH and DS detest the stuff. All the more for me.

bupcakesandcunting Sun 05-Jun-11 22:05:47

Actually, it wasn't an actual uni', he was at agricultural college in Penrith...

My best mate and her DP met at Lancaster uni'. What year did you graduate, Apocalypse?

TalcAndTurnips Sun 05-Jun-11 22:06:17

Yay!! But who was the Cheese Water quaffer?

Your virtual cheese is winging its way to you as we speak

(didn't say it was real cheese prize)

ApocalypseCheeseToastie Sun 05-Jun-11 22:08:23
