Seen in the back of a car whilst I was out driving yesterday - "our grandson child's name on board"

Was IBU not to ram the car?

would you ram it for "princess on board" too? If so YANBU...

I often feel like having a "cocker spaniel on board" sign in the back of my car.

I got cut up in Asda car park the other week by a pink people carrier (yep, really) with Disney toys hanging in the windows, 'Princess On Board' signs, flower stickers all over the doors.... and a bumper sticker saying 'Powered By Fairydust'. The driver had a pink cardigan on, in that wierd looped knitting you get on dreadful baby clothes.

Oh you would have hated my first car. Black KA, lowered, bright pink neons, pink playbunny bunnies on the doors, purple "girly-girl racer" signs down the doors and the "powered by fairy-dust" sign in the back window.

It was flippin' awesome!

There is quit a strong American influence where I live and many of the cars have decals with cartoonish/stick characterisations of the entire family with their names underneath.

Of all the things to spend your money on....

I'm thinking of making a couple of signs for my own car - "irritable teenager on board" and "grumpy old woman on board" - that's me!

Am Shock at "grandparent on board" Are they put in the baby seat, do you think?

mumof See thats what my KA should look like. Instead its purple with hints of rust with DS filthy booster, and already tiny boot stocked with normal car things and DS wellies, waterproof, football etc etc. I think all but the fact I drive it its his. Grin

I have 'monkey on board' sign.

TheFlyingOnion · 05/06/2011 14:56

but do people get these signs just for fun, or because they think that when I'm skidding out of control on the M6 I'll see their stupid sign and decide to swerve at the last minute and total someone else's car instead?

yukkk hate them should have rammed them on principal hate princess and little prince on board double Hmm wish we had a pukey face

I know someone who has a baby on board one and her 'baby' is nearly six the knobhead. In an accident the emergency services could waste time looking for a baby

rant over and breathe Grin

In the USA, they get bumper stickers with 'Proud parent of an XYZ Junior High Honor Roll student' or whatever written on it... You see some cars platered in them and wonder exactly how loathed they are by parents of kids who haven't achieved as much...

I saw one once - "Competition Dogs In Transit".

And? In what universe does the fact you've got dogs in the car make a jot of difference to me? In what slightly more far-off universe does your dog's ability to run through a tunnel make any more difference?

Bizarre.

My dog couldn't run through a tunnel on command if his life depended on it. Maybe I'll get "Shit Disobedient Dog In Transit" Grin

I recently saw a car with huge plastic eyelashes on the headlights and a pink (lipstick style?) trim around the number plate. I am ashamed to say, it did bring a smile to my grumpy face.
Those princess/grandparents/tosser on board stickers however...

My Pa did wonder about having a 'show bees in transit' sticker done years ago because he thought the dog ones were stupid (sadly he doesn't have the bees now).
