To think DH is a bit too old for a baseball cap?

Well am I? He's 39 this year....he still wears a baseball cap a lot. Is it a bit sad looking?

He's handsome and looks younger than 39...but still...should he be sophisticating his look up a bit now?

yeah but Madam they also wear socks above the ankles with shorts. All pulled up and proud.

em anyway about your DH, you're not going to change him now and he's probably in the old enough to be sad in fashion caterory anyway so leave him me (just make sure he washes them)

Does he wear the more conventional ones, or the ones dancers etc. wear?

Most every man I know wears a ball cap Confused even the Grampas Smile

I think he's probably too old to care about what other people think of his sartorial choices.

'Spect he doesn't care what other people think. Good for him.
Penguin, what is with socks that so upsets people?? I just don't get it? Why does it matter if people wear socks with sandals? At least people who do that are usually being kind to their feet, unlike all the weird people who go around in foot/spine-deforming monstrosities and think they look good. Give me blokes (male and female Wink) in flat sandals and sock any day!

As long as he wears it forward facing he should be OK. As soon as the peak slips round the wrong way he should be decaptiated. HTH.

If he looks to old to play baseball, he's too old to wear a baseball cap with style. That said, he's at the tricky age, he's either going to not care about his appearance, or really care about it - which is midlife crisis territory and I'm sure you've got better things to do with your time than to deal with that.

Have you bought him any alternatives? what about a cricket hat? It's easier for grown ups to wear without looking like he's trying to be 'cool'

It all depends on the length of his hair.

You need to have short hair for a baseball cap.

DH wears baseball caps too. Has to wear something as is bald. I'd rather he wore a baseball cap than got skin cancer.

According to the under 30s, being over 30 is uncool in itself. So really, nothing to lose Wink.

Being in Australia keeping the sun off your head is vital in the summer months. Most men opt for baseball caps. Dh is 44 this year, don't see the problem.

I wear one too, they are the only hats that I look ok in. I am 38 this year!

Rather wear a hat than get sun burnt/sun stroke.

There is no such thing as "wearing a baseball cap with style".

They are vile.
Dh is bald and very concerned about his head burning on the golf course so has. A wide brimmed cricket hat.
But then he has a White head and brown arms and face.
Not a good look.

Well, I´d rather be chavvy than sunburnt/headachy!

Apart from being the only style that looks any way to reasonable on me, it´s the only thing I get get to fit & therefore stay on when I´m biking.
