TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 18:14:47

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 18:18:07

<whistles nonchalantly>

am I the only one?

StealthPolarBear Sun 29-May-11 18:19:38

lol grin

AgentZigzag Sun 29-May-11 18:23:45

Hehe I do that as well, think 'is something burning in the kitchen, it's a bit smokey' then realise my glasses have got really mucky.

They've usually got little tiny sticky fingerprints all over them, so actually save me from numerous pokes in the eye grin

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 18:34:03

its a bit smokey lol grin

yes, fingerprints, definitely

shortarsefuck Sun 29-May-11 18:35:25

I hate when you get all the startchy stuff from peeling potatoes on your glasses and it's a bugger to wash off

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 18:47:07

shortarsefuck, erm, how are you peeling your potatos?

shortarsefuck Sun 29-May-11 18:48:58

Trin - with a knife but the juice kind of starchy stuff seems to splatter my glasses

Am I weird?

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 18:50:53

well it may be becasue your using a knife

I dont so dont know if that would happen if I did

I have to use a peeler or starch on my glasses would be the least of my problems grin

shortarsefuck Sun 29-May-11 18:55:32

I can't use a peeler I'm left handed and it defeats my brain to use a peeler. I end up with hacked to bits spuds and wee tiny short peelings.

StealthPolarBear Sun 29-May-11 18:56:58

i use a peeler and the starch stuff goes all over the laptop grin

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 18:57:43

I can only use one type of peeler, you know the only that ISN'T straight

like a u shape with the blade at the top

<babbles on about peelers>

StealthPolarBear Sun 29-May-11 18:58:40

yes thats the one I use
The only kind you'd be allowed yto use at school!

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 19:00:22

'all over the laptop' lol grin

maybe that is what I'm doing wrong
I should be doing everything at the laptop, that would get more done

starch, jam, choc spread, dog fur, juice, ironing water(yeah right) all over the laptop but hey
shit would get done grin

shortarsefuck Sun 29-May-11 19:01:15

I have only ever used one of the peelers that's a bit like a knife, but it has a peeler bit rather than a knife blade?

<<not explaining very well>>

do you think I'd be better with one of U shaped ones?

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 19:01:51

maybe thats why I cant use the other ones

I have one of the others
I've even tried to use it but I fear for my thumb joining hand area....

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 19:04:08

u shaped are better(well obviously I think that) and you are explaining it well
thats exactly the one I mean, scary shit

shortarsefuck Sun 29-May-11 19:08:13

I agree - I nearly took my finger off

PigletJohn Sun 29-May-11 19:17:02

I prefer the "Y" shaped ones

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 19:21:06

I think we mean the same thing dont we piglet
or is there a third peeler I know nothing about?

I hate peeling spuds so much that I make homemade chips with the skin on and I love mash but we only have it if dp is making tea

SecretNutellaFix Sun 29-May-11 19:30:02

Peeling spuds is a loathsome chore.

My Dad used to cheat. I can remember him once making mashed potatoes by boiling the spuds whole, letting them cool a bit and the skins used to just slip off. Hey presto- bare naked spuds, ready to be bashed into oblivion!

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino Sun 29-May-11 19:35:11

'bare naked spuds'

thats a band name if ever I heard one grin

and I reckon your dad has a fab idea

SecretNutellaFix Sun 29-May-11 20:04:44

He was great.
