They are bastards. Utter bastards. I bought a small stocking filler at Christmas for the princely sum of £2.99 from them online.

Since then, without me realising, they have taken £20.00 per month as some sort of subscription fee. I looked at my email history and notice they put on my receipt that through buying the item, I had automatically signed up for this club thing they do.

Rang them up, they won't budge - they obviously get complaints about their little scheme all the time so have all the patter worked out.

Fuming I am. Can't believe that you can be routinely robbed without an inkling.

Obviously IANBU, but couldn't find the shopping topic so though I'd got here instead.

They are scammers. Don't use them. Angry

That does sound like a rip-off. Though to be fair they do say in the middle of their homepage "After your initial 30 day free trial, your next 30 day pass voucher will be billed at £19.95 per month, ready for you to shop again at the low redsave price, until cancelled." so it is reasonably upfront.

Stop the DD then, and instruct the bank not to pay them any more.

Oh, I thought they were big time.

To be honest, I don't go around looking for little clauses like this on every shopping site. I think it ought to be much clearer - like asking you 'by ordering I agree to the subscription fee of 19.99 per month' at the point of order.

That didn't happen.

I just had a look at this. If you go to Redsave.com via Redsave.org, the info about monthly billing is less clear.

This is a scam tho people have ordered stuff and they have not got it so they canceled there subscription within the time limit and they still take the money out of there banks and they ended up having to cancel there cards don't but from them if you do your asking for trouble and to lose money
