To be annoyed that the CSA have cancelled my claim

I got a letter from the CSA this morning to say that they have cancelled my claim for my oldest daughter Angry

Now bearing in mind that my my daughter is now 27, married and has her children of her own, am I being unreasonable to be annoyed??

Also the letter stated that they cancelled it in 2004 Shock that was nice of them considering my ex stopped paying anyway when she turned 16 in 1999 Grin

They did say I could appeal against their decision, so do you think I should Grin

Grin

They'll have done some clean-up exercise on their computer system and it will be an automatically generated letter which probably wasn't supposed to come out to you.

I would say to write back to them with a funny facetious letter to cheer them up but I suspect they're stressed little bunnies anyway with a huge backlog!

The CSA cancelled my DS's payments right on christmas telling me his dad was not working from 20 October. The only problem with this is that he confirmed that he was working during November during a conversation with the complaints section in Plymouth in mid November. However, I am told the employer is always right and they are not an investigative agency. So hurray for the CSA and a special thanks to the lady at the Plymouth Complaints office who simply couldnt be bothered to tackle this one thus depriving a child of the very meagre sum he receives at this special time of year. Shame on you.
