celebrities offering their "great tips for weight loss"

Recently in all the mags the celebrities have been at it with their "great tips for keeping in shape".

As far as I am concered celebrities should not be allowed to give such advice on the basis that

a) They probably have a personal trainer.
b) They probably have a full time nanny to look after the dcs (or no dcs).
c) They probably have a nutritionist to design their meals.

Maybe I am jealous but I would like to know if anyone actually thinks I am being unreasonable for thinking celebs should be banned from offering advice to normal people on the basis that their lives are so far removed from the reality of most people's lives.

YABU. But then I buy heat magazine every week and am a sucker for 'eat an avocado a day for 3 weeks to lose a stone'.

Don't forget the night nanny to ensure that the sleb gets their beauty sleep.
I remember Jordan stating in OK mag that she was blessed with three different night nannies, which gave her nine hours a night sleep.
I think most parents would look fab on nine hours sleep a night!

D) they are not doctors or dieticians and the advice they offer may be actively harmful

On a more sensible note, anyone advocating any advice other than 'burn off more than you consume' should be banned.
