Hubbie driving me crazy. He finished 24th dec and goes back 5th jan. Mostly been a nice hols but he totally lost his temper with my 3yr old 2 days ago and really upset all of us in the process. Just shouting at him but terrifying the lad, he has made it up with the kids but not apologised to me and he knows I'm furious about his temper snaps with the kids. Anyway he has been hinting for last week about bedroom activity and I am not interested, mainly due to his poor behaviour to the family, plus I don't have a high sex drive and all the hinting gets my on my nerves TBH. he us now in sulk mode watching tv in other room not talking properly etc. Roll on 5th jan!!! AIBU to wish him gone!

No, I am in your club! Not out of bed till 10am, a snooze in the pm and then back in bed by 9pm, plus the arguments with the DCs. I can't help him being poorly, but roll on the 4th!

My DH has been off for the same length of time and today griped that the washing machine is noisy and seems to have been used almost every day Shock Clean clothes every day seem to have escaped his notice Hmm

Ok going against the grain here, but do you think he'd be in such a bad mood if he was getting regular sex?

I know it's a vicious circle, but do you think it's difficult for him living with someone with a low sex drive?

We're both down and snappy at the horrid dread of having to return to work next week. Could he be feeling the same?

I HATE the hinting thing though.

Yes maybe I should give him his oats as it were but I feel irritated but the low key hinting every day and if he were a bit more consistent with punishment to the kids rather than blowing his top when they are naughty I'd be a bit more likely to be nicer to him IYKWIM. If he feels he is missing out he should just say so!

But you know he's missing out, don't you? Please don't underestimate how awful it is to be rejected.

Can Not Wait....
OH is normally away with work from Monday am till Wed pm and then Thur am till Fri pm.
So having him here full time since the 17th is killing me.
The house just seems so small, and the food, all the food. . .

And worse he doesn't go back till 3rd week of Jan, love him but may have to kill him Sad

Mine is driving me up the wall! I have flu and his idea of 'looking after the children' seems to be a never ending round of disney dvds and constant snacks. Today he gave them crisps at 6pm then was cross that they didn't want their dinner. he also leaves a trail of stuff everywhere he goes so I am constantly tidying

I love him very much but am desperate to get back to work on Tuesday - if I am still ill I will just have to lock him in the garden as he works from home so there is no escape!!

I go out to work Blackeyedsusan! Grin I would make a lot more money if I went freelance but I would almost certainly murder him if I was working at home too.

Sorry about your DH's job, hope 2011 brings him a fabulous new one!

Right, off to close all the cupboard doors/drawers in the kitchen before I go to bed - my beloved has been 'making a snack'

Everyone likes to get back to their own routines.

Waved my mum off yesterday after 2 weeks visit.

Love her dearly but love my own space better.

My lovely DH went back to work today and I think after three weeks of hols, it was a relief to us both. We've had a fantastic break but that week between Christmas and NYE seemed never ending. DC back at school tomorrow and I'm craving the routine that the school day brings.

I work from home and I need to get back into things. I also want to put the Christmas decs away, so unlike me as I love Christmas.

Do you think that what you see as low key hinting is actually his version of gentle foreplay? DH does soemthing similar but I take it more as him letting me know he finds me attractive and wants some iyswim

I looking forward to ds2 being back at nursery (terrible threenager!) but ds1 and DH can stay home as long as they like in my book. I'm back at work tomroow however Sad
