Breakfast, lunch and tea.
Unless it's Christmas, then it's Christmas dinner, no matter what time it's eaten.

We have breakfast, lunch and supper - dinner is reserved for a more formal meal e.g. when we have guests or for birthdays.

blueberrysantabait
but do you have it at the same time as lunch or supper?

Breakfast, Lunch (whether hot or cold) then Dinner. Occasionally we might be daring and have Brunch, Mid-afternoon Snack then Dinner Smile

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Breakfast a moveable feast...when we get up. Lunch any time between 12-2pm and we eat late for dinner, sometimes as late as 9pm or even 10. But we feed our DD when she gets in from school, ready to eat the table.....about 5pm.

Tea is a class divide thing.....I think of it as cakes and sandwiches but the relatives in Wales use the term for dinner....

Supper sometimes but rare.....bit of brie and apple, maybe..or toast...

Missed that 4.30 bit - that could be either (very late) Lunch or (very early) Dinner, depending on the meals consumed beforehand...

Breakfast, lunch, then dinner.

Tea either sounds northern (to me, I have no idea if it is Northern or not) or its dainty little sandwiches and cakes.

Supper sounds poncey.

Dinner/supper are at 7.30/8 pm ish but dependant on formality of the meal. DC have supper at 6 ish and tea (sandwich and biccie) when they get home from nursery at 4. If they have friends over they have high tea which is a bit more substantial and often replaces their supper.

It's breakfast lunch dinner most of the time, occasionally supper depending on who or whom I'm talking to.
Tea is either a drink, or a light snack between lunch and dinner to me

at home we never have anything remotely grand enough to be called dinner

since when has it been poncey to call your evening meal supper? it's too late and too cooked to be 'tea', what else can you call it?

I don't eat breakfast.

I eat lunch about 11.00am.

Dinner is what the pupils at my school have at lunchbreak (!).

I eat my dinner about 8.30pm of an evening, once I'm home and have got all my jobs sorted. :)
