I had a friend who called her dog Shit, because thats all it did as a puppy. Oh imagine the fun taking that dog for a walk in the park.

I managed to dissuade my mum from naming our dog Nina.

Imagine wandering around the park shouting "Nina nina nina nina..."

We had cats called Spit and Polish. Luckilly the neighbours already thought we were weird and never batted an eyelid at shouting those names out the back door.Xmas Smile

What a disgusting suggestion. In my day dogs had sensible names like Rover

I wanted to call our dog Nigel when I was a teenager but my mum went all soppy and named it after our dead dog from my childhood.

I like daft or human names for animals - my cats were Jasper and Jasmine. My friend's Yorkshire Terrier was called Killer and her cat was called Gail because it had a really triangular face and looked like Gail from Coronation Street Grin
