I thought I'd be liberal and give his Tramadol Nights programme a go.....

Jesus, he is fucking horrible, just plain nasty - not 'edgy' and I have a dark sense of humour sometimes.... I can not believe C4 commissioned this shite

jonicomelately Tue 07-Dec-10 22:26:56

He's a fucking hole in the air. I hate him.

cluelessnchaos Tue 07-Dec-10 22:27:10

I thought, how rough can it be? Too bloody rough for me, I lasted about 5 minutes, now being middle aged and watching the BBC news

Boobalina Tue 07-Dec-10 22:28:34

He is a massive nasty bastard, I cant believe anyone married him and had his baby.... poor child.

MrManager Tue 07-Dec-10 22:28:34

All comedy is subjective.

JoBettany Tue 07-Dec-10 22:29:33

He's too much for me too - am also watching the news.

Boobalina Tue 07-Dec-10 22:29:52

Doesnt wash

tummytickler Tue 07-Dec-10 22:29:59

We are watching it. Dh really likes it. I used to like him, but actually he is just nasty.

CommanderDrool Tue 07-Dec-10 22:30:17

He seems to be trying to offend as many people as possible. He's succeeding.

roomonthebroom Tue 07-Dec-10 22:32:27

YANBU. DH watching it while I catch up with MN but he switched it over when he started his hideous 'joke' about Jade Goody.

Awful.

narkypuffin Tue 07-Dec-10 22:32:39

Sick I can take, I just find him a bit try hard. He's like a seven year old boy going, "Bum, farts, boobs!" because he wants to shock.

Hulababy Tue 07-Dec-10 22:33:31

Saw him live a year or so ago. Didn;t enjoy.

AuntBessieIsComingForXmas Tue 07-Dec-10 22:33:40

He's a knob

EauRudolph Tue 07-Dec-10 22:34:57

I thought he was meant to be giving up comedy, or was that just a nice dream I had?

deedee321 Tue 07-Dec-10 22:35:18

YANBU, I have just been saying this moment how much I loathe him.

Boobalina Tue 07-Dec-10 22:35:36

Although the audience was laughing, it wasnt a comfortable relaxed laughing....

I cant beleive how terrible I found him.

I am going to give the Morgana show a go now....

Boobalina Tue 07-Dec-10 22:42:17

Morgana show - very funny!!!!

Ladyofthehousespeaking Tue 07-Dec-10 22:53:16

Nobhead- I turned off after he started taking the puss out of austistic people last week (dumb face/smile with cross eyes- fucking twat.)

muddleduck Tue 07-Dec-10 22:57:12

He is the only person on tv who will make me turn off any programme that he appears on.

Vile.

I was so excited about tramadol nights, but in the space of half an hour he has gone from possibly my favourite ever comedian to an utter twat.

The jordan/harvey gag was so utterly twisted. And not in a good way.

Frankie on Mock the Week was classic, always made me laugh.

Seen some of his stand up stuff and not funny, not offended by anything he said just didn't make me laugh.

If you want something offensive listen to Chubby Brown!

Now he does make me roar, but also in a cringing way like did he really say that .

MrManager Tue 07-Dec-10 23:14:47

smallwhitecat publicly funded broadcasting is a bus, not a taxi - not all the programming is designed to appeal to all the people. Live and let live.

classydiva Tue 07-Dec-10 23:15:19

I take it you also turn off Ricky Gervais?
