there was a 'like' button, similar to facebook, because I almost always see a post I really like, almost as if I couldn't have said it better.

Am I the only one? Hmm

FB makes baby Jesus sad.

YABU.

If FB closed overnight I would be a happy lady.

(sorry to be cheeky, but it's Friday night)

YABU = You Are Being Unreasonable.

YANBU = You Are Not Being Unreasonable.

Hope that helps.

Yes, yes you are. Stop it now please.

FB makes the Baby Jesus mad and sad. We do not need "like" buttons, noooooooooooo.

I approve of MN, but not FB.

No idea what baby Jesus would make of either, to be honest.

I sent an e-mail to my friend the other day and accidentaly did a Smile. Of corse it just looked like this [ smile ]
She said what on earth was that? I'll have to introduce her to MN. Wink

Sorry, I've just noticed that last post has nothing to do with this thread, I'm just rambelling as usual. Must be the wine. Wink

FB makes my baby sad when I don't allow him to randomly hit the keyboard or chew the mouse.

I wish there was a 'like' button or 'like' emoticon at least... they've got a biscuit for no comment and a bear one that has something to do with being middle class or other.

GotArt · 03/12/2010 21:11

Seeing as how baby Jesus' would be a baby, I don't thing he'd give a hoot anyhow. He's just concerned with feeding, shitting and sleeping, like any baby.

It could make the baby Jesus cry.

Probably not shit, unless it tastes suspiciously of prunes.

YABU... if you like a post you say so and why. Just a thumbs up/like thing doesn't help the conversation flow.

Report
SuePurblybiltByElves · 03/12/2010 21:23

Honestly, you FB lot with your gladiator thumbs. If you agree then you could say so. If you disagree you could say so. If you have something else to say, you can say that.
It really helps the whole chat forum thing along Xmas Grin

have thought the same. If you are on page 2 of a 19 page thread you don't want to do it at the end as things have moved on then. A 'like' option would just sit there, under the esteemed comment. We could make it more MN-ey and award a Boden coat icon or a Fruitshoot to show approval or disdain.

toddlerwrangler · 03/12/2010 21:25

All I want for chritmas is a quote and edit function. Please MN gods - pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Like would be good, but quote far superior!

I got loads to say, and say it all the time on FB. However, I find things more exciting over here cause people are anonymous and therefore have more balls. Xmas Grin

FFS! This is a chat forum! The addition of a cheesey fucking 'Like' button removes the necessity to make fuller comment therefore rendering the whole bloody thing pointless! We're here to talk!
