am i being unreasonable when i buy this nice boat for DH for a joint birthday and Christmas present. It's not his birthday until July but i know he'd just love this but i'm not sure if i could justify the expense of two big presents especially given the current economic situation.

AIBU?

Fine I'm sure but will it fit in your back yard?

Tricky to budget for when no price actually given.:)

No problem.

I'm sure he'll be happy with the joint present.

Happy sailing!

I think i could moor it at the local harbour but do you think pedlars will have a big enough ribbon to wrap around it.

i was thinking as it had been out of commission for a number of years that maybe £75 would be reasonable.

Nah - the jet on EBay is much better value for money at £95,000 !!!

My Dad served on this ship during the Falklands war so if you want it you'll have to go head 2 head with me in a bidding war!

what about the armoured cars? You couldd put the keys in the crackers you have on christmas day

now i wouldn't say no to the sailors especially if they were thrown in as a job lot, not sure i could have them as an extra.
