I've bought it for FIL for christmas - I hope he will take it as a joke, and not be offended because he thinks I am criticising his writing.

Perhaps I should keep it for someone else.

I'd buy this for my mum, as she is quite a grammar and punctuation pedant so I don't hink she would be offended. Although she has recently taken to using text speak in text messages, much to my horror. Dear thing just can't get her head round predictive texting though so I've let her off...
