AIBU?

to burst out crying straight after sex?

I don't know what happens to me.

Whenever it's been really good, I just feel so overwhelmed that I cry. Not gentle, actress on telly, one tear down the cheek crying but loud, dramatic sobbing.

It's so embarrassing. My DH just laughs.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that this happens to.

Or if anyone has any ideas how to stop it - please tell.

not often, but sometimes. when it has been really emotionally good as well. new man got quite worried at first, thought he had done something wrong.

You are not alone. I think it must be something to do with a rush of hormones, or something. I think it's more of a compliment to your dh than something to be embarrassed about. I assume you trust your dh not to tell his mates about it down the pub? Wink

It has happened to me - not that often, ususally when I am emotional anyway.

It's happened a few times with me. I think mostly when I've been pregnant so probably is hormonal.

It happens to me sometimes too. Usually when I've been having a really awful time at work or am generally a bit low; the overwhelming pleasure, emotion, etc can release all sorts. My "whateverthebloodyhellheis" (and whatever he is, the sex is always amazing) isn't phased by it now but I think he used to find it a bit odd.

I often laugh if that makes you feel any better, doesn'[t do much for DHs confidence though!

(in fact I am pretty certain that the only times I concieve is if I have got a fit of the giggles)

Happens to me occasionally. (Not, of course, that the sex is ever less than goodGrin) Nothing to worry about but I always feel a bit Blush when it happens. Your DH should feel flattered.

Notyetamummy, bless your cottons, thank you, I thought it was just me! Smile Awwwwwwwwwww!
Um, Mr Diziet and I have been together 17 years this weekend (married for 7 of those years) and it still happens to me now 'n' again.
I sought out the video for 'Your're Still The One' by Shania Twain on Youtube - and yes, I blubbed helplessly. Blush
We would've had that song at our wedding but were far too cool at the time. Of course we wouldn't give two hoots now! Grin

Belle I like HBU. I'd use it, only DH went out catching rats like weekend when I saw one in the garden and REFUSED to deal with it, so he does have his uses.

Back on topic, I never knew this was such a common problem.

He went catching rats LAST weekend.
and I should have put a grin face after HBU, as it warrants it.
