Namechaged obviously. Just in case I am BU Hmm

This morning, ds (20 months) was in bed with me as usual - he wakes at 4 am, comes in my bed and goes back to sleep for another couple of hours.

And, as usual, we started playing etc after much jumping, he performs his favourite thing and lifts up my top to blow raspberries on my tummy! Cue huge giggles from both of us :o

After repeating many times he lifts my top higher then normal and exposes on of my breasts. With that, he has a stupid grin on his face, giggles and presses my nipple with his index finger saying 'beep' (this is what he does when pressing the button at traffic lights)

We both dissolve into giggles and he repeats it 2 or 3 times before I pull my top down and tickle him. I stopped because a) he was getting rough with his excitement and b) it was too cold and said nipple was in danger of freezing off!

Now,I just recounted this mornings antics to my sister and she was horrified!

She said it was 'highly inappropriate' 'perverted' and surely going to set him up for some kind of mother complex.....

She warned me not to tell anyone else because it would seem like abuse and SS may get called Confused

Is she right?

Am I just not seeing how wrong this was?

To me it seemed harmless fun and it's not like I intend to make this part of our morning routine and still whip my boob out when he's 5!

Ridiculous reaction. My ds does this all the time. No harm in it. He's only 3.

YANBU. Its not the mouth it comes out of its the mind it goes into.

If you told your son off for touching your boobs he would wonder why and that takes way the innocence of your horseplay. He's only 20 months FGS. Does your sister really think its time you told him boobies were private? My God, some kids are still being breastfed at that age- is that wrong too? Your sister needs to get a grip.

YADNBU.

He was BF until he was 15 months and self weaned - this is the first time he's paid any attention to my breasts since then and he's clearly forgotten what he used t use them for!

Now they are clearly hilarious - no thanks to the BF'ing :)

DD is 3 & still obsessed with my "juggly juggly boobies" as she call them :)
She's going to get a huge shock when DC2 arrives.

If you sister has DC I actually feel quite sorry for them. Doesn't sound much fun in her house.

my 5 year joins in wiht gecko shouting 'big boobies' when I get dressed

would be ok if it hadn't started because gecko had said they were 'swingy' Hmm

Sounds like your sister has issues. If you had any kind of hidden agenda you wouldn't exactly go around telling people about it would you?

Thanks for confirming!

I really think that young kids should be allowed the innocence I agree.

DS was breastfed till just over 4, he is coming for 5 in two months and I still think 'misses' them and will try to stroke if he can.

He did say on Tuesday that I could eat special 'Elli Belly' cheese and then he could have boobie again. I did gently explain that I was enjoying pigging out on delicious cheeses again he couldn't

Your sister is wrong - I am guessing she doesn't have children. I would say that is a fairly common reaction in people who simply have no idea of what children are like.

My DS who is 4.8 will still stick his hand up my top and poke me. He is just getting to the age where I am telling him to stop. My DD who is almost 6 is utterly obsessed with my breasts and the bras that I wear which is just a progression from her seeing and touching them when she was younger.

I am pregnant at the moment and they are both fascinated about where the milk comes from and how I will feed the baby. I think it is really wonderful they are both so open and questioning. It would be dreadful for them to feel that there was something wrong with naked bodies.
