I saw this same t-shirt in a shop in town and was really f*cked off!!!

Geocentric Mon 08-Nov-10 14:41:56

Thats truly awful. I was too scared of the site to browse the other t-shirts.

whatdoiknowanyway Mon 08-Nov-10 14:42:06

I saw that last week and thought 'how offensive'.

It was hanging up in a shop window in town, wo betide any guy I saw wearing one!

GypsyMoth Mon 08-Nov-10 14:45:29

which bit do you find offensive?

i'm a single mum and can't see the mum/pole dancing link! am i being thick??

lollypoplady Mon 08-Nov-10 14:47:17

It's saying single mum's strip to support their kids and the men which pay to watch them strip are supporting them financially

nannynobnobs Mon 08-Nov-10 14:52:44

To be fair to that site, it is listed under 'offensive t shirts'. Surprised to hear of it hanging in a shop window though!! confused

KaraStarbuckThrace Mon 08-Nov-10 14:54:04

Very very tacky!

Jellykat Mon 08-Nov-10 15:09:58

OMG! That's disgusting!!

Chil1234 Mon 08-Nov-10 15:11:55

I don't really get the connection either. Looks like the bus made a sudden stop, one's holding onto the pole and the other's fallen on her arse....

Meh....

Meglet Mon 08-Nov-10 15:12:19

shock

Chil1234 Mon 08-Nov-10 15:12:44

Then again... £14.99 for a t-shirt? Now that's offensive...

gobbledegoop Mon 08-Nov-10 15:49:22

How is that offensive? Are you a single mum and a pole dancer? If you are, then it's true... if you are not then it's not relevant to you anyway!
Life's too short!

muggglewump Mon 08-Nov-10 15:52:45

I'm not offended and I'm a single Mumconfused

curlymama Mon 08-Nov-10 15:55:30

It's meant to be offensive, don't go and credit it be actually being offended.

newwave Mon 08-Nov-10 15:57:56

One of the other T shirts Mirror, signal, makeup like it.

Lighten up people it's a T shirt and is £14.99 so much.

Marjee Mon 08-Nov-10 15:58:06

I'm a single mum and it doesn't offend me but if I saw someone wearing it I would think wanker!

MrsRhettKilledTheButler Mon 08-Nov-10 16:01:03

i thought it was slightly funny blush basically what gobbledegoop said

HalfTermHero Mon 08-Nov-10 16:05:46

It is a cheap dig at women and an implication that they are unable to support themselves financially without recourse to selling their bodies. Pretty pathetic really.

cupcakesandbunting Mon 08-Nov-10 16:13:33

It's pretty funny. I don't know any single mums that support their families by working in a titty bar though.

RealityBomb Mon 08-Nov-10 16:16:53

muggglewump Mon 08-Nov-10 16:18:42

Agree Reality.

Sometimes on here I can't keep up with what I'm supposed to be offended by.

cupcakesandbunting Mon 08-Nov-10 16:21:00

I'm offended by everyone being offended to be perfectly honest.

wholelotofarse Mon 08-Nov-10 16:24:49

Tis but a tacky T-shirt, bigger things to be really f*cked off!!! by imo.

As an aside I did pole dancing classes for a while as an alternative fitness plan not a career choice and ended up getting guns Arnie would be proud of grin stonking great bruises too! DP thought I was going to fight club wink

SuePurblybilt Mon 08-Nov-10 16:31:23

It's crap but nobody sane would ever speak to/snog/shag anyone wearing one of those t-shirts. It's a useful visual aid to the quality of the man inside, like grown women wearing Winnie the Pooh.
