My DD (14 months) has milk intolerance and eczema, but apart from milk seems to have been OK with every food we have given her. Nursery gave her some pineapple and said hives appeared on her neck shortly afterwards. DD does dribble alot so it might have been the juice on her skin that caused the reaction.
I think I need to try her with pineapple again to be sure of what is happening. I am planning to give a small amount, wipe up any dribble straight away and watch for a reaction. If there is no reaction do you think it would be safe to assume she is OK eating pineapple and other citrus fruits and it is just a reaction on her skin?
