OAS ( oral allergy syndrome.)Def more likely,
not connected to organic v non organic, unless of course you are allergic to some form of pesticide.
although, looking at penicillin, might be linked to mold.
also,
links to environmental allergies, such as hay fever, tree pollen, etc

has a wide vary of severity, from mild to life threatening.

worth getting further medical advice.

good book to look at ,
the complete guide to food intolerance and food allergies, by prof brostoff, published by gamlin.
book has section on OAS

Hi i have reactions to bananas and melons certain times of the year, i was told this is conected to my hayfever.Depending which pollen ie:tree, grass etc is affecting me depends if i have reaction to the fruit and to which one.I get very itchy throat, roof of mouth and ears when ive eaten them. But the rest of the year i can eat loads without any reation at all.

I have the same thing.

I became allergic to fruit (oral allergy syndrome linked with being very allergic to silver birch trees) when I was pregnant with dc3. It improved significantly after the birth.

However I am now usually fine with organic fruit but usually get the itchy mouth thing with non-organic fruit - I wonder if it could GM fruit trees or something????

TBH if your reaction is extreme as the op described I wouldn't risk eating them again organic or not.
