Usually I get given E45 with no perfume ect and is stated suitable for children with eczema. However I put in a repeat and the doctor seems to have prescribed something totally different called sunsense. I just wondered if it for any reason has proved good for children with skin problems or whether its one of those stupid changes to something that we are happy with at the drop of a hat. To me it smells perfumed, doesnt state for children with eczema and is a roll on. My other one for her was more of a blocker so it didnt penitrate the skin to much but this seems not to be like that and is more of a lotion. What do you think? Anyone tried it, or has been given it for eczema?

Why don't you phone the doctor and ask why he has prescibed something different?

Its amazing. I highly, highly recommend it! My son's eczema specialist, a professor in London recommended it for his skin about 2.5 years ago and we have been using it ever since and for my other two children. It works brilliantly, its light but still factor 50 and it doesnt make him itch or react - definitely get it, it will change your life in the sun.

So glad I found this thread. Thankyou, Thankyou.

I was going to buy the Dr. Hauchka, but at £18 a tube thought ds would just have to stay indoors.

Is it only available on prescription?

I tried to get this on prescription today and was told I couldn't have it. The doctor said unfortunately it was down to money. Am quite annoyed that it can be precribed in some areas and not others.
