Yeast intolerance ... Help needed

Hi, I've just had a Bio Resonance test and it's identified that I have a moderate to high intolerance to quite a few things :

  1. Aspartame
  2. Potato
  3. Citrus fruits
  4. YEAST

The Yeast is a problem as I love bread and cheese but I've tried some Soda bread today and think I can cope . Can anyone recommend a good website or a good book that can help me identify what foods I can and can't eat in terms of the yeast problem.

I know mushrooms, vinegar and sugar is off limits.

Also, if I have an intolerance does this mean I may have a Candida infection ?

beer will be definitely off limits and some other alcohols. a friend of mine with severe yeast allergies can only drink vodka. she also avoids dairy completely.

no helpful website though, sorry. if you run searches something is bound to come up. have you tried BBC Health?

lots of info here

I went on a yeast-free candida diet a while back using a book that was supposed to be v good. Tbh most of the recipes were barking and vile, and it was quite a depressing experience.

a friend of mine, a nutritionist, gave me much better advice. If you had the money for a consultation with a nutritionist and you can find a good one locally I would go that way really.

also a nutritionist will look at the 'whole you' as it were, and be able to deal with all four intolerances

now kooky that book was the one I had

I made a cake out of it once

me and a friend still laugh about it now

but if the OP has been told she has an allergy to yeast, it doesn't mean she has to go anti-candida - avoiding sugar, wheat, coffee, all that

I say again, go to a nutritiionist. The anti-candida diet is very harsh and I wouldn't embark on it again without proper advice

Thanks all, I think I'll go see a nutritionist as the candida diet is very limited - perhaps I'll just eat carpet .
