My son who is nut allergic has a dog-tag from Medic Alert, which he wears around his neck.

It says:

Asthma
Nut Allergic: Carries Adrenaline.

And then the usual contact numbers.

He also has translation cards for a trip to France, which basically state that he is unable to have nuts or any nut deritives, and that exposure to nuts can prove to be fatal.

Don't know if this helps atall.

DS has so many allergies that in the exterior of the bracelet it only says:

-I'm allergic, ask my grown up before feeding me(look inside)

at the back it says;
-Severe allergy to Peanut, nuts, egg, etc etc, Epipens/inhaler in my bag

I wouldn't put anaphylaxis at the front, if anything "severe allergy", I think that there is a balance to be found betwwen making the people aware of the NEED to take his allergies seriously and not to scare them off to the point they are afraid to have your children around.

Now given the 2 options you mention, I would definitively put Peanut and Nuts, there are a good number of people that are good to avoid nuts to protect your child but for some reason forget that peanuts are to be included in the things to avoid.
