I have just added a recipe for above.

Look Here.

Ooh, thanks, just what I need for DD2's egg free birthday party! I shall give them a go before hand and report back.

Patsy, I was thinking that. I will probably use it as a birthday cake.
If you leave it whole and just ice it I bet no-one would realise that it is egg and dairy free.

Hold on, I have a recipe for a nice chocolate topping... back in a minute.

Got it..

If you put 100g dk (dairy free) chocolate in a bowl with 3 Tbsp Syrup and melt in microwave for 30 secs or more.
Stir it together and then spread on top... tastes lovely

My DD is okay with milk (although her constantly loose poos are making me wonder about intolerances on top of her nut and egg allergies...). Does soya milk add to the taste or can that be readily replaced?

Thanks,

Jane

I am sure it can be replaced with cows milk. It was just an allergy friendly recipe.

Sorry Milkshake, I hadn't checked this for a while..
When I made them I added about 50g of melted df chocolate and they tasted great.
I think it would be fine to add more, as there are no eggs in it, it isn't very gooey, so more liquid/melted choc might make them a bit more moist!
I have two other dc with no allergies and they enjoy this also!
