Ah funny you should start this thread.

The last couple of months i have had sinus trouble but it had died off but is flaring up again suddenly and the dd's Eczema is also quite bad.

Actually I have a hideous fungal rash all over the back of my hands.
My ds is quite snotty too.

Me!

I have been having terrible bouts of hayfever. Itchy eyes, nose, ear canals and roof of the mouth. Ds2 is also suffering a little, more snuffly, red rimmed eyes and just genernally bad tempered!

I think I'll start ds on his cetirizine tomorrow,he has that allergic look about the eyes at the moment and is constantly scratching.

My dd and I are both on the eye drops but I thought that was an infection. Could it just be allergies then?

The symptoms are sticky eyes in the morning and generally red.

Oh is that what it is? I developed some mystery allergy whilst pg with ds2 and have been really snotty, phlegmy, coughing, itchy ear canal.
Usually whatever I have the allergy to (we think its just dust mites) gives me red eyes and watery nose so I thought this must be something else.

Apart from April, May and June according to that. Grim. I might try to chart my allergies so I know what I'm allergic too because it;s certainly worse at times.

Thanks for the chart. At least now I can say with certainty that I have year round allergies. I do think charting my allergies would be a good idea as I definately have times where I am far worse than others, this time of year is definately one of them.

I think I do have an infection as one eye is really watery compared with the other.
But tbh I've persevered with optrex before and it's sorted itself out.

Actually I've probably infected my eyeliner pencil and mascara come to think of it.

Good point. Make up probably cross contaminates.

My tear juice could be used as super glue at the moment I tell you. I'm a medical phenomenon.

are you optrexing 2hrly like the bottle says

i'm not

No.

My dd told me, in an accusatory way, her friend's mum comes into school to give her dd eye drops twice a day. (she's 9)

I'm inadequate as a mum. Luckily my dd is staying the night with the alpha mum so she can sort out the eye thing.

LOL ... yes they can be marvellous when used wisely and in moderation.

can I blame the spores in the air on my recent penchant for eating a load of crap.
Have been eating sweets and biscuits which I never normally do.

ggirl you're feeidng the spores. I am too. It's terrible, but when you have an overgrowth of fungus it demands food. Usually sugary food. So you get cravings for sugary stuff.

That's the awful truth about candida - aparently.
