Migraine .. food related?

Would be grateful for any advice 😊

My husband had a head ache for about a week which then turned into a migraine where her was being sick and was in bed all day. The worst part of it carried on for about 2/3 days and then faded with just a headache and he seemed much more himself and pretty much back to normal after a few days.

However ... today it has come back 😢 he hardly got rid of the headache and now it's got worse again.

He rang the doctors this morning and has got a prescription for Sumatriptan which he has taken and just as I'm typing this has said it feels better which is great!

But I'd be interested to hear if anyone has migraines because of food related intolerances? His mum and grandad get them because of food (mum cant bave garlic or shell get one). But where do we start with finding out? My first guess is spicy food at the moment, only because we had fajitas last night which were quite spicy and it affects his tummy 🤷‍♀️

Any advice? Thank you!

I have had migraines for over 30 years. Not affected by cheese or chocolate - in fact chocolate makes me feel a bit better! Once did have a massive attack from eating about a dozen orange (as was) Opal Fruits. Was very poorly!
As a lover of Indian food I have never been badly affected by a meal....
