Itchy hands - 3 year old DD

DD has always had eczema /dry skin. Her skin was bad last summer - we tried hydrocortisine and a couple of high strength creams but the only thing that seemed to settle it was the cooler weather.

Just this weekend DD has started with itchy hands and wrists. Scratches like mad then it bleds.

This suggests to me that it could be seasonal allergies /pollen? She had no known allergies that we know of, have an appointment with an allergy specialist this week.

It could be an allergy, I have that from time to time and was an eczema sufferer as a child.

Oil of evening primrose applied topically is excellent, it soothes and makes the itching go away quickly. Far better than steroid creams and harmless.
