So I have awful eczema. It's in a period of major flare up at the moment, as I had food poisoning last week so couldn't take my antihistamine. Has anyone found that going dairy free helped? To top it off I'm allergic to nuts, so the normal almond milk sub is out. I am clueless, I am a major cheese friend so am finding this a bit daunting.

Both me and my DSister have CMPA. She had awful eczema which cleared up almost instantly after giving up dairy.

If you are thinking if trialing DF could you try Oat or Hemp milk? I'd also say read the labels on everything. It's surprising how many products milk is in. It does get easier though. I felt quite sautés at first but after a couple of weeks I'd found quite a few things I liked.

I use koko coconut milk and the brand 'pure' sunflower spread is the most preferred dairy free margarine in my house.

The allergist we see said something about a few weeks off, then few weeks back on, and then off again to help work out if you are having a delayed type of reaction to food. Can you get appointments with your allergist or dermatologist for some proper advice?

Yes 100%! I am dairy free and gluten free and all my skin has cleared up. I also take Great Lakes Callogen.

Look into taking Milk Thistle as well. it helps the liver process things and cleans it out.

Good luck
