DD's allergy clinic has the serums for testing the very common allergens (milk, egg, nuts etc.) but any other foods we have to take ourselves.
She has an appointment on Thursday and I would like her tested with chickpeas. I've heard that you shouldn't take tinned chickpeas. Should I therefore take a bag of dried chickpeas or would I need to cook them!? (I'm reluctant to cook them as I'm severely allergic to them myself so it really would be difficult to have them boiling in my kitchen).
Any experience/advice much appreciated!
