I lost a lot of weight when I stopped eating things I was I intolerant too. I had a couple of weeks where I struggled and ate things I didn't think I was meant to have. Weight has crept back on. Checked my notes and now I'm not even sure I've been avoiding the right things.

I'm so fed up. I am active, walk for at least an hour a day and with kids, the house, garden and dog I barely sit down until the evening.

I need to lose weight, ideally 2 stone but even 1.5 would be good.

I've tried MFP but it's not realistic as I cook everything from scratch. I'm tired, menopausal and have food issues so it all just feels too daunting.

Hello,
I feel your struggle. I'm trying to lose weight too and it won't budge. I'm planning on joining slimming world next week to see if it works for me.
What type of foods were you avoiding when you lost a lot of weight? How much did your weight go down? Only asking as my sister is currently stick thin due to several intolerances and gall bladder problems so has had to cut fat out of her diet completely. She is now underweight. She is hoping to get some weight back on and is experimenting with adding different foods back to her diet.

It is daunting I agree and hormones don't help as I'm finding. I'm trying to drink as much water as possible to see if that makes a difference

When I tried the first time it was over 25 things I couldn't eat then eventually got down to not having wheat, gluten and a few other bits. Months later I saw someone else and after two more tests I can't have salmon, prawns, sardines and a couple of other things but doesn't say I can't have wheat or gluten Confused and I'm lactose free now from dairy free.

Yesterday I only had a satsuma for breakfast a veg lunch then normal tea and I'm 2lbs down today.
