First of all hello everyone, I'm new on this but am desperate to find out what rash I've been getting for the last few months😡!!

First of all (few months back) I thought they were bites and by going to the doctors and going on two courses of antibiotics/using steroid creams etc this wasn't the case.

I came back from Spain over a month ago and whilst over there got an awful heat rash that then turned into a very sore/itchy sort of eczema (as what I think) anyway it took just over 3 weeks until it began to fade. The last couple of days have been very humid and I once again contracted (as what I thought) was heat rash, now I have the same sore inflamed itchy rash all over my legs & feet. I'm so fed up & have been told it's a 4 month wait to be seen by a dermatologist...

My legs haven't been totally clear now for at least 5 months & I am waking up at 3am most nights because of how itchy my legs are!!

If anyone has any advice or experience with this sort of thing I'd be so grateful.
Thankyou - Holly x

P.s - Tried to post photos but can't as the site says I'm "new" :(

Have you tried an antihistamine? If that helps with the itching and rash, it generally indicates there's an allergy.

Sun cream perhaps? Anything else you've put on your skin or brushed past (grass, plants, trees) that you wouldn't normally?

I got a very similar thing happening to me too. It has been nearly 3 months now and tried going to the GP but was no help. I looked up online and self diagnosed. I think I developed venous eczema. I have varicose veins ( one leg has been operated on) and it seems that the circulation in my legs is poor which leads to itchy dry skin. I just posted a new thread to get opinion on this. Currently am using creams from Holland and Barrett and Planet Organic which seems to help but have not cleared it completely.

I have suffered from chronic idiopathic urticaria on and off for years. It's self perpetuating so no triggers identified or that can be ruled out. Manage with periods on antihistamines.
