I keep waking up with the corners of my eyes really itchy. I've just checked the pollen count and it's 'moderate'. Anyone else suffereing like this, or could it be something else?

My eyes are itchy, my nose is itchy and streaming, and my throat feels like I have a feather stuck down there All in all I feel like sh!t!!!!! DD is the same. I get like it when ever there is a tiny little pollen count, I think it depends on which pollen you are allergic to the most (mine is every one - so I get hayfever in the autumn and early winter too thanks to fungal spores )

get some eye drops, that helps. The more you itch the worse they'll get. (I sound like I'm talking to DD - sorry!!!! )

Opticrom eyedrops are the biz, sorted out my jelly eyes last year really well.

A lot of people round my way seem to be suffering, it seems to be going hand-in-hand with some sort of throat infection/virus - maybe it just lowers your resistance to pollen/allergens.

thanks for your help. have opticrom on my shop list for tomorrow. Have been ok for most of today, then they went mad again at teatime. Just been for a bike ride with ds, and fine by the fields - its a bit mad!

I've had itchy eyes for a few weeks, specially in the morning, never had them before nor any other allergies, now come down with horrible sore throat / cough / cold combo, not sure whether related....
