Sorry for the language - I got told to use the correct terminolagy!
There was about 4 last week, right up the very top outside of her V, now there are about ten. I have just been using water and cotton with no cream. They don't seem to be sore though????

possibly chickenpox? my one year old started in same way in same place.

If blister like could be chicken pox?
If more like acne spots could be molluscum?

phone your gp tomorrow. If it is chickenpox it can be nasty in a baby. A professional needs to have a look soon but they may prefer you not to take the baby to a busy surgery.

sidekick Mon 25-Jun-07 20:36:11

Ah!! Surely it would have other symptoms! OH god - this doesn't sound good. They are very local and haven't really spread far?

sidekick Mon 25-Jun-07 20:46:13

bump - any more advice! I just looked on web - although I know this is bad, not very much advice. Says its mostly on the trunk and chest first?? I will call dr tomorrow.

aw sidekick, don't panic too much

is she distressed and does she have a fever?

tatt Tue 26-Jun-07 10:17:38

if it was something to panic about I'd have said go to a&e or phone the duty doctor. A professional ought to have a look but as long as she seems well in herself it isn't panic time.

Hi, was nothing - funnily enough my calander beeped this morning with a scheduled visit already booked - weird.

S just a bacterial infection - gave me a script for some cream. All good!!
